Two days in Miami put CHOICE, formerly ICHRA, at the center of uPPo’s ACA WAY 2026 conversations. The team’s recap describes a mix of product demonstrations, education, technology discussion, and one-to-one conversations with attendees.
The live demonstration walked through how CHOICE works. A breakout-stage session looked more closely at what the model means for agents, employers, and their teams. A CHOICE and AI panel considered how technology is changing the way benefits are built and delivered.
The recap also highlighted a busy booth and thanked the people who stopped to ask questions and share ideas. Those conversations were part of the event’s value: an opportunity to hear what agents and employers wanted to understand, rather than discuss the benefit only in abstract terms.
CHOICE remains the same underlying ICHRA structure despite its new federal name. For agents following up after the conference, the practical questions are still how an employer sets the contribution, which individual coverage employees can choose, and how enrollment and administration will be supported.
